
Art in the Ballpark
Basic Entry Requirements:
- The theme of the artwork must have something to do with baseball, whether it be the history, the ball parks, the players or fans, the food, the equipment, etc.
- 2-dimensional pieces must be framed securely, wired and ready to hang on art panels. Overall dimensions for 2-D work cannot exceed 40” x 40”. 3-D must be no heavier than one person can handle safely. Artists are encouraged to provide their own pedestal or appropriate display stand to accompany the piece.
- Artists entering the exhibition will be required to purchase two general admission tickets as their ENTRY FEE ($10), when they bring their art to the ballpark. Pre-registration with the Arts Council is required. Registration deadline is August 8. To request an entry form or more information, Call the Arts Council at 422-2111 or click here.
- Up to four pieces of art can be submitted by an individual artist. Themed series are encouraged.
- Artwork will be received on Friday, August 29, from 9am to 10:30am at Bosse Field. Pick-up for displayed work will be AFTER THE GAME or on Monday, September 1, 10 – 12 noon, at the Arts Council.
